Grenoble Ecole de Management provides numerous services to support students during their studies.

Careers, personal development & networking

Career Center

At the Career Center, you can refine your strategy and methodology to search for jobs and internships. Thanks to a variety of tools, professionals will provide you with support from your first internship to your first job and facilitate access to offers posted by recruiters.

Coach Center

The consultants and specialized coaches at the Coach Center help students think about their personal and professional aspirations. Concerences, workshops, individual interviews and classes are available to help students discover professional paths they may never have imagined. Individual and group coaching sessions are offered throughout the year.

GEM Alumni Network

The GEM Alumni Network has more than 35,000 members who you will be able to exchange with throughout your studies. Acces their profiles via the online GEM Alumni portal and meet them during GEM events. GEM's support services continue well after graduation thanks to regional and theme-specific events organized by the #GEMAlumni community.

Paying for school

Partial school fee exemptions

GEM is committed to considering all requests for fee exemptions (the application procedure is explained to all incoming students). These exemptions are made after special consideration by an ad hoc commission depending on the applicant's situation and his or her reliability in terms of any previous school fee payments.
No exemptions will be awarded in the following cases:

  • Repeating a year
  • Placement year
  • Work/study in 2nd or 3rd year when the hiring company is paying for part of or all school fees.

There are several funding options available depending on the type of exchange.

  • Scholarships for university exchanges managed by our Center for International Affairs
  • Scholarships for international internships: Auvergne Rhone-Alpes scholarships (BRMIE)

Local scholarships
Local authorities often have programs available to provide financial aid for students in their region. Contact your local government in order to know about the application process.

Scholarships for Managers (Caisses des Cadres)

The caisse des cadres can provide managers with funding for their children pursuing higher education. Ask your caisse des cadres for additional information.

Higher Education Scholarships

Awarded according to family resources, these scholarships follow the ministry's decree. Check with the CROUS for additional information.

European Education Scholarship Portal

The portal,, provides free information and access to financial support for academic  programs. The portal provides users with relevant information about scholarships, grants and prizes that match their profile.

Student Jobs

Two Grenoble Ecole de Management associations provide paid jobs for students throughout the year.

  • AMD Job-Services
  • Junior Enterprise

Work/Study Programs

Many programs can be completed as part of a work/study contract. Depending on the contract, a student's employer will help cover education costs.

Student Loans

For more information, check with the school's partner banks.

StudyLink: peer-to-peer lending

StudyLink is a secure platform that enables students to borrow money to fund higher education (school fees, housing, computer, etc.). The platform is open to all types of students regardless of age or program type (short-term, long-term, any field).

To simplify your search for funding, GEM now offers a chat box. Please use it to help explore funding solutions available to you.

  • Are you already a student? Connect to the intranet and launch the housing application.
  • Are you a candidate? Go to the website and register.
  • Are you an owner? Place your housing ad directly on our platform.
  • Are you a working professional? Please contact us.

This platform was created by the startup Studapart.

Disabilities: personalized support

Students with disabilities benefit from specific services and support to facilitate their studies and future employment. To apply, please submit a request to GEM's dedicated service upon entering the school. It is possible to request a partial exemption of fees (social criteria) and the school will provide you with support when applying for government recognition of a disability for studies and work (RQTH).
