La Chaire Digital Organization & Society de Grenoble Ecole de Management a organisé une conférence sur le thème "Augmentation sensorielle - des cyborgs au metavers"

Augmenter sa cognition en augmentant ses capacités perceptuelles est un projet humain de longue date. Aujourd’hui, il prend une signification d’autant plus importante que les technologies digitales permettent à chacun de s’implanter ou de fixer à son corps des puces transformant les couleurs en sons, d’entendre la météo, de sentir les tremblements de terre. Elles permettent aussi, par le truchement de la réalité augmentée ou virtuelle de faire d’autres expériences incarnées et perceptuelles, jusqu’à imaginer que les technologies puissent générer un autre monde de perception. Cette conférence a été l’occasion d’échanger autour de ces développements technologiques et projets d’entreprise associés.

Intervenant

Stéphanie Gauttier est Professeur Assistant en Systèmes d'Information à Grenoble Ecole de Management. Ses recherches portent sur les conditions d'acceptation des technologies augmentantes, qu’il s’agisse de réalité augmentée, de technologies dites ‘wearables’ ou d’implants. Elle a fondé, avec trois autres chercheurs, la plateforme « Re :making Sense » où les chercheurs échangent autour des questions d’augmentation sensorielle.
