Sport: 11 GEM students and graduates in Tokyo this summer

11 high-level athletes from Grenoble Ecole de Management (GEM) have been selected for THE multi-discipline sports competition of the year in Tokyo. These students are from the Sports & Management Institute at GEM.

Violaine AERNOUDTS, rowing
7th in the European Championship in 2020, she is a student at GEM in the French Grande Ecole Program.

Ethan CORMONT, pole vault
Champion of France in 2021, he is a student in the French program 'BTS Management Commercial Opération' at Grenoble Ecole de Management.

Valentine FORTIN, cycling
23rd in the FFC ranking (Federation of French Cycling ranking), she is a student in the French GEM Grande Ecole Program.

Vincent GERARD, handball
World Champion in 2017 and a graduate of the GEM French Grande Ecole Program, he is the director of the AJPH (Association of Professional Handball Players in France).

Alexandre HOUSSEIN, Judo – Djibouti team
3rd in the African Championship in 2020, he will join the GEM French Grande Program in the 2021 school year.

Etienne HUBERT, kayak
7th in the Rio Olympic Games in 2016, he is a graduate from the GEM French Grande Ecole Program and a project manager for the AFNOR.

Marie JACQUET, rowing
14th in the World Championship in 2019, she is a student in the GEM French Grande Ecole Program.

Coralie LASSOURCE, handball
Captain of the French women's team, she is a student in the GEM French program, 'BTS Management Commercial Opération'.

Emma LUNATTI, rowing
8th in the 2020 European Championship, she is a student in the GEM French Grande Ecole Program.

Laura TARANTOLA, rowing
2018 Skiff World Champion and graduate of the GEM French Grande Ecole Program, she is now a project manager at the SNCF.

Enzo TESIC, swimming
4th in the 2021 European Championship, he will join the GEM French Grande Ecole Program in the 2021 School year.

More than 350 top level athletes trained at the Institute of Sport & Management at Grenoble Ecole de Management

To date, The Institute of Sport & Management at Grenoble Ecole de Management, has over 220 sportswomen and top athletes from 50 different disciplines in training and over 150 graduates. The training programs dedicated to high-level athletes allow athletes to fully pursue their sports career while also pursuing higher education. Thanks to customized support, adapted training methods and a double project co-constructed with the sports organizations (club, federation, team etc.), the athlete can serenely prepare the future. The Institute of Sports & Management at Grenoble Ecole de Management offers programs from college to Masters Levels. All programs are recognized by the French Ministry of Education.
