Open letter to those who have chosen GEM for the start of the new 2020 school year

For the 2020 academic year, you have chosen Grenoble Ecole de Management. Thank you for your confidence! By joining us, you will be joining not only a robust and recognized school, but also and above all a school on the move - a laboratory open to society and the world.

The world of work after your GEM training will be radically different from today. And that was already true before the Covid-19 crisis. To prepare you for this, our answer is simple: if we don't know the rules of tomorrow's world then let's invent new rules, experiment with them, and open new doors.

In concrete terms, this means that the training you will follow will be designed to put you in real-life experimental situations thanks to the talents of our teachers, our experiential labs, our serious games, and our hybrid courses in France and abroad. It will open you up not only to the fundamentals of how a company works but also to new ways of looking at it, such as geopolitics, economic peace, technology for the common good, artificial intelligence, gender equality, the fight against climate change, responsible consumption, etc.

To train you to become a manager of a more resilient, more just, more peaceful, more responsible world: this is how we wish to support you.

Before discovering all this, it is true that many questions arise for the coming school year: will the pandemic be stopped, will the borders be opened, can lessons be provided normally? To these questions, we do not, in all transparency and humility, have definitive answers at the present time.

Nevertheless, here are the commitments we make to you:

  • All GEM teams are mobilized to offer you learning and student life opportunities that may be different, but are always inspiring and exciting.
  • Your safety will be our top priority.
  • The start of the new school year will take place and lessons will be provided, with identical content, objectives for acquiring knowledge / skills, and according to the most relevant methods depending on the situation in the fall.
  • Student services will be 100% accessible.Special care will be taken in exceptional personal situations.
  • You will be kept regularly informed of all decisions.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us: toute question, n'hésitez pas à contacter :

Above all, stay safe and healthy.
