
Grenoble Ecole de Management’s (GEM) online training program « Global Studies: International Relations and World Politics » renews its EOCCS (EFMD Online Course Certification System) accreditation, a guarantee of quality awarded by the EFMD. Designed for all audiences wishing to decipher global issues, the program consists of 3 bilingual MOOCs (French / English) and validates 4 ECTS credits.
Available from January 6, 2020 and taught by Yves Schemeil, professor of global and comparative policy, the program includes 3 MOOCs:
- From January 6 to February 3 (4 weeks): « Global Studies: Risks and Threats in International Relations » assesses the impact of cultural divisions and security threats on foreign affairs and global politics.
- From March 23 to April 6 (2 weeks): « Global Studies: The Future of Globalization » questions why some governments try to regain all their sovereignty or even leave international institutions.
- From May 18 to June 15 (4 weeks): « Global Studies: Cultures and Organizations in International Relations » explores the possibility of overcoming cultural, institutional and environmental differences and creating a more cooperative world.
Objective
Understand international relations and crises and explore solutions to global problems.
MOOCs combine videos, illustrated articles, additional readings and bibliographic resources, discussions, several quizzes, and an essay. The validation of all the courses and the final test will make it possible to validate 4 ECTS credits.
