Dr. Thomas Bolognesi is an Associate Professor at Grenoble Ecole de Management. His research interest lies in how actors coordinate and for what socio-economic and environmental effects. Why does governance fall short in expectation while made of relatively efficient policies? How do policy instruments and institutions interact? What is the co-evolution between economic development and the environment? To answer these questions, Thomas scrutinizes water governance and regional development, and sets empirical designs accounting for non-linear and multilevel relationships. He is engaged with society and aims at having societal and policy impacts.
