After her bachelor’s in Human Biology from the University of Toronto, Soad briefly worked as a neurophysiologist before coming to France in 2002 where she pursued a Master's in business and followed that with teacher training. She then founded her own training center in 2011 which started out as an after-school English language center for children and then broadened services to include translation, language trips and professional English training to adults.

With extensive experience teaching at various universities including engineering, business, trade schools and medical school, Soad is now a permanent staff member at Grenoble Ecole de Management where she teaches intercultural management, DEI and eloquence while supervising modules in the English department. She is currently completing a Doctorate of Business Administration entitled: Socially Responsible Higher Education Management. Inclusive Practices: Paving the Way to Quality Education for All.
