Jaclyn Rosebrook is currently Head of Sustainability and Global Responsibility and Mission Manager at Grenoble Ecole de Management (GEM) and has been a faculty member since 2002. Jaclyn was born and raised in the United States and France has been her home since 1993. Her professional career has been focused on international higher education as a faculty member and administrator; teaching or managing projects in sustainability and citizenship, languages, literature, (inter)cultural studies, study abroad, and global responsibility.
Awarded a BS in International Management from Boston University, an MA in French Language and Literature from Miami University of Ohio, a D.E.A. in American Language and Literature from the Université Grenoble Alpes (Stendhal), and a Graduate Teaching Fellow in French at Boston University. Jaclyn is also certified in Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI), and Carbon Footprinting (IFC). She was Resident Director for Albion College in Grenoble program for over twenty years, having previously directed Boston University Summer and SUNY Buffalo study abroad programs in Grenoble.
Affiliate Professor at GEM, her most recent courses taught include "Refugee Identities & Experiences: A Critical Literary Inquiry", "Calling Bullshit - Critical Thinking in a Post-Truth World", “Intercultural Studies & Management”, “America & Identity in Post-9-11 Literature”. Her research interests are in contemporary literature, (inter)cultural studies and trans-cultural issues of identity, sustainability, and global citizenship.
