Eric Casenave worked for several years in the industry, notably as a sales and marketing manager. He joined the academic world as a “professeur agrégé” and then as professor in business school after defending his thesis at the University of Paris Dauphine (best thesis award from the French Marketing Association, 2015). He mainly teaches sales management and personal selling to business school students and professionals in the context of executive education. His research focuses on the management of sales and marketing functions. Eric Casenave is interested in the attitudes and behaviors of marketers and salespeople in organizations, particularly towards management methods and new technologies. His research has been published in international academic journals such as Journal of Business Research, Industrial Marketing Management, and Management International.
