Andrew WALKER is an Associate Professor at Grenoble Graduate School of Business, and Emeritus Professor at the European Institute of Purchasing Management, Geneva. He has been teaching in Higher Education for over 20 years. He worked for six years as an IT consultant for Deloitte Touche, was Director of Shopcreator Developments (an e-commerce solutions company), and is currently an international consultant for the Centre for International Development and Training (based in the UK). He has over 20 years' experience in information systems and digital marketing, including international consultancy projects for the European Commission, the United Nations, and several national governments (including Iran, Bhutan and Nepal). He won the best paper at the International E-Commerce Conference in Singapore in 2008. His areas of expertise include web analytics, web design, digital marketing and information systems. He consults widely for businesses in the areas of digital marketing and web analytics.
Andrew lectures and consults internationally in the areas of Strategic Information Systems, Digital Media, Digital Marketing, Web Analytics, and E-Business Strategy. This work includes the UK, France, Switzerland, Italy, Georgia, Russia, Slovenia, Malta, Moldova, Czech Republic, Nepal, Iran, Saudi Arabia, China and Bhutan. He has been lecturing in Higher Education full or part time for over 17 years, including: Aston Business School; Sheffield Business School; Sheffield Management School; University of Northumbria; London School of Business and Finance; European Institute of Purchasing Management (Geneva); Grenoble Graduate School of Business (France); Academy of the National Economy, and Moscow Aviation Institute (Moscow); LUIC (Italy); Caucasus Business School (Tiblisi); the Royal University of Bhutan (Bhutan); Tribuvan University (Nepal); Masaryk Institute (Prague); University of Beijing, and EIPM Shanghai (China); the E-foundation (Malta). He was made Emeritus Professor at EIPM, Geneva, in 2012.
