Olivier Trendel -- Ph. D. Marketing (2006) from the University of Grenoble, M.S. Marketing (2000) from the University of Washington and Engineer (1997) from the INPG-PAGORA -- is professor of marketing at Grenoble Ecole de Management. Current areas of research concern the study of automatic mechanisms of information processing (i.e., implicit cognition), mechanisms that drive spontaneous beliefs and behaviors. The domains of applications include communication effectiveness (e.g. sponsorship, corrective advertising, fake news), food perception (e.g., obesity prevention) and relational marketing. His research has been published in Appetite, European Management Journal, Food Quality and Preference, International Journal of Electronic Commerce, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Public Policy and Marketing and Recherche et Applications en Marketing.
