Two new professors join the department of marketing

Welcome to Ivan GUITART and to Guillaume HERVE.

Ivan is an Assistant Professor, PhD in Marketing (IESE Business School, Spain). His research focuses in the empirical analysis of marketing problems. One stream of his work deals with the design of strategies for new product introduction. In particular, his research explores what are the optimal prices, quality levels, and introduction times for a set of products that incorporate a new technology. Another stream of his work focuses on advertising effectiveness, specifically on how the content of commercials influences consumers purchase behavior.<

Guillaume Hervet rejoint GEM en tant qu’enseignant, Docteur en Marketing (Université Laval, Canada) et conduit des recherches dans le domaine du marketing digital, et plus particulièrement sur l’efficacité et l’évitement de la publicité sur Internet, le web 2.0 (réseaux sociaux numériques) et les objets connectés. Ses travaux ont été publiés dans Journal of Research in Interactive Marketing et Applied Cognitive Psychology.
