Romain Bontemps, ESC Grande Ecole Program and MSc Finance graduate won the 1st prize (4000 euros) for best thesis in finance during the 2014 edition of the Association Française des Trésoriers d'Entreprise awards for best thesis in Finance – AFTE is the French Association of Corporate Treasurers.
Romain was recognized for his Final Management Project, a compulsory component of the MSc Finance program. His topic was “Latin America & Optimum Currency Area”.
“Taking part in the AFTE awards for best finance thesis not only puts forward the work done in the MSc Finance program thanks to the awarded prize but it also represents a valuable opportunity to show off quality results to 1300 members, treasurers, auditors, bankers…The jury was particularly impressed with the research work behind Romain’s Final Management Project”, explains Philippe Dupuy associate professor of Finance at Grenoble Ecole de Management.
“The award and my time at Grenoble Ecole de Management has been a terrific human experience, you come out of it stronger, enriched, more mature and capable of adapting to all areas” explains Romain Bontemps.
