The Association of MBAs (AMBA) has announced the finalists of the prestigious MBA Innovation Award, which recognises new practices, risks and creativity introduced into the delivery and model of accredited MBA programmes.

Their MBA Leadership Development Programme uses Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL). ‘Horseplay’ is an experiential learning activity designed for MBA students to perfect their interpersonal communication skills, and adopt a model of Leadership inspired by self-awareness, clear direction, mutual trust and respect.
Athens University of Economics & Business, Greece
Their MBA International Programme is the first in Europe to offer cutting edge curriculum and training on e-skills (eBusiness Marketing, SEO, Social Media, Analytics, PPC) as part of the traditional classroom-based MBA. Offered 100% online and being the result of a fruitful industry-academia collaboration, this curriculum prepares students for more than 20 new job roles and trains them to promote any type of businesses online.
Porto Business School, Portugal
Their Magellan MBA gives the internationally diverse student cohort the opportunity to sail with prominent CEOs, who share some of their own Communication and Leadership Practices. The programme delivers a fine blend of current theory and practice in both hard and soft managerial skills, with a special focus on innovation and technological entrepreneurship.

The winner will be announced on 6 November at the AMBA annual Awards and Gala dinner which will be attended by a prestigious gathering of business leaders, international Deans and Directors, distinguished MBA alumni and journalists. All finalists and winners are presented with a trophy and have their achievement publicised through the Association of MBAs' media and communication channels.
