GEMUNITY: The Grenoble Ecole de Management Social Network for Business
Gemunity is Grenoble Ecole de Management's internal social network for collaborative work and the exchange of information. The institution is one of the first European Grandes Ecoles to use Microsoft's Yammer tool for its Business Social Network. Much like large corporations, the school wants to offer teachers, students, graduates and other participants access to a tool that will allow them to communicate in an innovative and human way.
Understanding and working with the Generation Y
How can managers understand the habits of digital natives who were born with a digital world at their finger tips? The answer goes beyond the question of intergenerational management. Benoît Meyronin, a professor at Grenoble Ecole de Management, focuses on the digital habits of this younger generation in his publication "La génération Y, le manager et l'entreprise" (ed. PUG). The publication examines the generation Y's perception of digital tools, services and content. What kind of managers will this generation become tomorrow? What digital behaviors and evolutions will they bring to businesses? These questions and concrete company examples (Orange, BNP Paribas,…) complete this publication's overview of the subject. Discover all the latest publications on digital natives and their habits thanks to the Digital Natives Resources Watch.
